Staking
Stake a coin to earn the stakers' share of its fees, in SOL.
Holders can stake a coin to earn its stakers' share of every trade's fee (30% of it), paid in SOL. Rewards start with the next trade after you stake, before or after graduation.
Tiers
| Tier | Lock | Weight per token |
|---|---|---|
| Flexible | Unstake any time | 1× |
| 7-day lock | Locked for 7 days | 1.5× |
| 30-day lock | Locked for 30 days | 2× |
Your share of each fee is your stake's weight over the total weight staked in that coin. Weight is the amount staked times the tier's multiplier, so a 30-day stake earns twice what the same amount earns staked flexibly.
Two stakers, one 30 SOL trade
- Alice: 1M tokens, flexible
- weight 1M
- Bob: 1M tokens, 30-day lock
- weight 2M
- Stakers' 30% of the 0.3 SOL fee
- 0.0900 SOL
- Alice earns
- 0.0300 SOL
- Bob earns
- 0.0600 SOL
How it works
- Each tier is a separate position. Stake into as many as you like, from the Stake box on a coin's page.
- Adding to a locked tier restarts its lock for the whole position.
- Flexible stakes can be withdrawn any time. Locked ones can be withdrawn once their lock ends.
- Claim any time, from any tier. Rewards arrive as SOL in your wallet.
- The minimum stake is one whole token.
- Staked tokens sit in the coin's stake vault, held by the hook program, and only your wallet can withdraw them.
Staked coins are off the market. The more of a coin that's staked, the less supply there is to sell.
When nobody is staked
The stakers' share goes to the coin's locked liquidity instead. It's never held back for future stakers, so the first person to stake can't collect a backlog.
